Responsibilities:
- Teaching a mixture of life and physical sciences at the middle/high school level.
- Creating a rich, engaging, and positive class environment in which students will experience science through hands-on learning, collaboration, quality instruction, and real-world application.
- Grading exams, tests, quizzes, assignments, and presentations, and contacting parents and other faculty members to discuss concerns and schedule interventions.
- Ensuring school and state standards are met.
- Providing differentiation and extra support to struggling students and additional resources to those who display exceptional interest/ability in science.
- Requirements are a bachelor's degree (master's and/or CA credential are desired), preferably with a science major and an education emphasis, and the desire to work with students, bringing science to life in a Christian environment.
